Subject: Should be able to disable link list when rendering HTML with lynx
Date: Wed, 05 Mar 2003 13:56:47 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <vuollzt3amo.fsf@csa.bu.edu> (raw)
I noticed that the arguments to lynx in `mm-text-html-renderer-alist'
and `mm-text-html-washer-alist' don't include the "-nolist" option.
What this means is that the end of the dumped output will include a
(possibly very long) list of all the embedded links. Personally, I
think this looks kind of ugly.
Would it be possible to include "-nolist" in the definition for both
of these variables? Does anyone actually rely on this behavior or
find it useful? If so, maybe it could be controlled with an option.
In general, it's very difficult to fiddle with these values, short of
copying the entire variable into your own .gnus file and twiddling it
there, but then you'll miss any updates that may get made to it.
