I was about to ask, "What is gnus-art-load-hook?" But then I grep'd
for it in *.el, and there it is, at the very end of gnus-art.el.
At first, I thought it was named very badly. All other
article-related hooks are named gnus-article-*-hook. Then I realized
this isn't a normal article hook; there's a whole slew of these
per-file load-time hooks:

nnmail.el:(run-hooks 'nnmail-load-hook)
None of them are documented in the manual. Hm. "Naughty, naughty."
