I've played a bit with nnml, and making it jka-comprehensible wasn't
that difficult.  It does feel a bit kludgy, though, so I'm not doing
the same with the other backends right away.

The real pain comes when trying to do
`(insert-file-contents (int-to-string article))', when we really want
article with ".gz" (or whatever) appended...  sigh...
