Well, I had better things to do today, so I rewrote gnus-topic to
support hierachical topics.  Seems potentially useful.

Then I found out that topic names really should be in bold, but since
I had rewritten that thing to use the standard gnus-*-format-line
method, I saw no way to do that.  So I rewrote `gnus-parse-string'
(and friends) to accept "%[%]" specs to highlight portions of lines.
(A side-effect of this is that you can now have more than one
mouse-highlighted region on each line.)  "%2[hello%]" will dislay
"hello" in `gnus-face-type-2' (and so on) so you can really get fancy
with fonts ond stuff now, if you should wish.
