When you execute a message-composing command in September 0.25, the
message buffer you get (*post-news*, *mail*, whetever) will be
"associated" with an article in the draft group automatically. This
means the `buffer-file-name' and `buffer-auto-save-file-name' will
both be a files under "~/News/draft/".

So if your machine should go down while you're writing some article
you can just pop into the nndraft:draft group and continue writing
when the machine comes back up again.  (Yes, I wrote a new backend;
the old draft thing that used nndir is now obsolete.)

MH has the convention of using drafts\bs for this purpose. Can it be
customized if not the default?

Hmn. I see now that the default is indeed "~/News/drafts/". But it
can be customized, of course. :-)
