Subject: It's summer, it's... time to do something else
Date: 03 Jul 1998 15:10:11 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <w8syaubcc7g.fsf@levding.ifi.uio.no> (raw)

(I'm sending to ding@sina.hpc.uh.edu until the DNS updates spread.)

And that something else is t-shirts.

No, I haven't gotten around to doing that Visa thaaang, but if we're
going to wait until I get my ass in gear, the summer (and I'm not
saying which summer) will already be over, so I'll do it the
old-fashioned way.

Now, I haven't decided on color or anything yet, but it'll be a (ding)
Gnus commemorative t-shirt; released on July 26th, for obvious¹
reasons. Since all the other things have been dark, I think this one
should be light. Primarily white, with black printing; back and
front.

Let's see... They have black, white, orange, blue, green, yellow,
red, ash, off-black, and marine. I think the only useful colors are
white, orange, blue, green, yellow, and red.

The price will be the same as the first t-shirts, only cheaper, since
the NOK has sunk in value. I'll have to do some calculations on
postage and stuff, though.

I'll set up a web page with pictures of the design, as well as
complete info. Perhaps I should set up a "'reserve' that size and
color for me?" type thing as well? Uhm. No, I think that'll just be
more confusing.

The first (ding) release was on December 11, 1994.

(gnus-days-between "Jul 26 06:32:40 1998" "Sun Dec 11 06:32:40 1994")
=> 1323

That's a nice, round number. Hm. Perhaps in some other radix...
