For some reason when I use Gnus under XEmacs, address completion from
my .mailrc doesn't seem to work. When I hit tab, XEmacs just beeps.
It still works fine under Gnu emacs, though other things seem to be
broken there. Does anyone have an idea why?

TIA,

Problem "solved", in a sense. I was using mailabbrev with a CVS
version of GNU emacs, but it doesn't work with any released XEmacs.

Thanks,
Dave

This functionality is available in the mail-abbrevs.el file--part of
the mail-lib XEmacs package--according to the commentary at the top of
that file. (I use mail-abbrevs for bbdb expansion.)
