Platform: SPARC Solaris, GNU emacs 19.34, qgnus 0.26, custom-1.9961
qgnus 0.22 works OK, but qgnus 0.26 stops with
Loading gnus...
Symbol's function definition is void: custom-declare
Do I need to upgrade custom? Is there a custom I could upgrade to?
(Now where did I put that URL?)

Another correction: I'm running qgnus 0.27, not 0.26.

And that proved to be the reason 0.27 didn't work: I set the wrong
load-path, and loaded the vanilla Gnus of 19.34 instead (blush!).

this subject!
