Subject: error Selecting deleted or non-existent buffer
Date: 04 Oct 2000 22:06:05 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <whaeckqslu.fsf@viffer.bang.priv.no> (raw)
Platform: Gnus v5.8.8 (CVS checkout from yesterday), XEmacs 20.4, linux
Setup:
- primary server an nntp server which connects through
nntp-rlogin-program ssh to a different machine which is allowed to
talk to this servers
- nnimap folders
- a secondary nnimap cyrus server server that always is reachable
- a secondary UoW nnimap server that is reached through ssh via
imap-shell-program
- a secondary Exchange nnimap server that is not reachable apart from
at work. Currently denied manually in the server buffer
- another secondary Exchange nnimap server that is also not reachable
apart from at work. Currently denied manually in the server buffer
When I do `g' and then `J s' to download new articles into the agent,
it stops with this text in the mini-buffer:
Error ((error Selecting deleted or non-existent buffer)). Continue? (y or n) Yes
Anyone have any idea what causes this? It isn't enough of an error to
trigger a stack trace by doing this:
(setq debug-on-error t)
Is there another debug variable I should set, maybe?
