Subject: nnimap under agent, expiry and delete
Date: 29 Jan 2001 11:50:57 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <whitmyk4xa.fsf@viffer.computas.no> (raw)
Platform: linux, XEmacs 20.4, Gnus v5.8.8 (CVS checkout from Oct 31 2000)
According to `C-h l', expiry is run in my agentized nnimap folders.
However, the result of the expiration is never transferred to the IMAP
server(s). Ie. the articles are never deleted when I go plugged.
I've also noticed that if I do `B DEL' in unplugged mode, the article
isn't actually deleted on the server, when I go plugged.
Expiration tends to be stuck if I try to do this on IMAP server when
plugged, so I've never done that successfully (I think). But `B DEL'
seems to work correctly when plugged.
Is this supposed to work in my version of Gnus? Or do I need to
upgrade? Or has this never worked?
Thanx!
- Steinar
