Go figure...) This is on purpose, I think. And they're especially targetting Netscape on UNIX. Try eg. http://www.nsb.no/persont/index.html to see something (Norwegian State Railways route planning service) that works fine in Netscape 4.05 on Win32 but does not work in neither Netscape 4.04 nor 4.5 on linux (and presumably none of the versions in between). The text is unreadble and forms editing doesn't work. The www.nsb.no is one of the many reasons why I hate New Media Science (arrrgh!).
