Subject: gnus-summary-show-article and two-part alternative messages

Message-ID: <wkpv6zubbq.fsf@chevax.ecs.umass.edu> (raw)
This is interesting. I received a message with text and html alternative
parts. I have gnus set up to show me Text by default.
Out of curiosity I did 'C-u g' to have a look at the raw message. I then
did 'g' to get back to the plain ol' text. To my surprise Gnus started
loading the dozen or so files associated with w3! It showed me the text
part, but I could switch to the html part right away, no waiting. Why did
Gnus load the w3 packages?
