Although the intention is for use in News posting, I wonder if we should be able to "supersede" a mail article by simply sticking the article in a mail buffer and let us edit at will. What happened was that I was dumped into a *Post News* buffer and when I tried to send a message with no Newsgroup: line, I get and error, of course. [This is another reason why we want a uniform mail/news posting interface.] In the same operation, I noticed that my nnfolder+archive'd article had been saved before I ran my mail-send-hook, which is ispell-message. As a result, the outgoing message was saved with my spelling mistooks. I suppose this is a matter of deciding when the outgoing messages should be archived. (I have ispell-message in my news-inews-hook as well.) -- Jack Vinson Sunderland, MA jvinson@cheux.ecs.umass.edu
