I came back from lunch and attempted to read news of my normal nntp server,
but it had timed out and would not reconnect.
I had to quit gnus and restart to be able to contact the nntp server
again. I suspect this has something to do with the recent changes made to
make Gnus more robust when the server cannot be accessed?
