To read an Atom feed with nnrss, I try to find it at feedburner.com because it gives an RSS version of the feed. If it's not there I create it. Before updating Emacs and Gnus today this method only worked some of the time. I never understood what the differentiator was. Today I created this feed and nnrss fails to handle it: http://feeds.feedburner.com/emacspeak nnrss falls down to the syndic8 case and then says: gnus-group-make-rss-group: No feeds found for http://feeds.feedburner.com/emacspeak FWIW, feedvalidator.org says the feed isn't valid because it "uses an obsolete namespace". But reader.google.com handles it just fine.
