Subject: Those \201 in *Groups*, 0.05 vs. 0.06
Date: Sun, 14 Jul 2002 12:37:39 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <wtnr8i67fyk.fsf@licia.dtek.chalmers.se> (raw)
I have a couple of mail groups that is named Attgöra.XYZ (Attgöra is
swedish for ToDo) and this is not a problem in 0.05. In 0.06, which I
just downloaded and installed, are those displayed
"Attg\201öra.XYZ". I have not changed any files between running 0.05
and installing 0.06. I started 0.05 to see what happend, if 0.06 has
written any \201 to e.g. .newsrc.eld, but not so. 0.05 displays my
*Group* buffer properly.
Bug or feature?
What kind of info do you need to debug this? (Sorry, but I have been
so disconnected from the development the last years that I don't think
I can find my way around Gnus' sources anylonger.)
GNU Emacs 21.1.2 (sparc-sun-solaris2.8, X toolkit, Xaw3d scroll bars)
of 2001-10-21 on licia.dtek.chalmers.se
Oort Gnus v0.06
(Does anyone have a handy funktion that inserts the necessary
information? I.e. something that does "C-u M-x emacs-version" etc. for
you?)
