Lars did you intend to keep these open and close if and only if the nnfolder-server is closed? (this is causing some extreme overhead on the part of my gnus since I've got some pretty big nnfolder files). Now I've found kill-buffer in the following functions... (nnfolder-close-group) (nnfolder-request-move-article) (nnfolder-request-rename-group) (nnfolder-possibly-change-group) Basically when nnmail is doing spliting, does it call nnfolder-close-group after it's diverted to the proper folders? I don't seem to have hanging buffers when I enter and leave a folder, just at init time when or after I've gotten new mail. I hope this helps some. It might just be my misunderstanding of the changes made. d. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.4, an Emacs/PGP interface iQCVAwUBMTQt8IX26urqpgG1AQFWBgQA07ZVyfcz64nIlMgYHnBi3LDY9UG7Sc9a 1nOBwAdaniDMA/Jla9CSeQ/MirC1H1Q70/daBY9p+1r1P6LKApR0tqqTwLV85qUE GPzogsTxjIp862G/8NkwFaItLgzH9lDXkOZxzuabtZGK2ctX94sx0Qlec/9en8vX ug6sQMX+9KM= =wmTm -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ``This is where you fall down.'' ~ mortal kombat, the movie
