A couple notes...
1. doing a std. followup "f" key I got this header (I used a followup with
deleted References to get the group name. Ill have to set up the
gnus-mailing-list-groups, but I'm not really sure what that variable
will do, like how does it grok the mailing list name from the group, and
will it work with the ding-list group?

And the debug info on the server. It lists "archive", I set my
gnus-message-archive-method to nil (and I'm still getting nnmh loaded =( ).

That variable is used to signal that a newsgroup (from an nntp server)
is really a mailing list. This makes commands like `f' and the like
behave as if you were following up to mail.
What you want is probably the `to-list' or `to-address' group
parameters.

This is due to a bug in `mail-utils', which is fixed in Emacs
19.30.92.

Don't do that. Uhmn. Grumble. Ok, I'll add lots of tests everywhere
for whether the archive method is nil in 0.44.
