Pterodactyl Gnus v0.31
XEmacs 20.4 "Emerald" [Lucid] (i686-pc-linux) of Fri May 15 1998 on des.castles.com

I auto-ispell my outgoing mail messages (because my spelling habits
will get me in trouble otherwise)...

Anyway, pterodactyl is not in the default ispell dictionary, and hence
gnus bug reports bail on the first word...

Should we report this to the ispell authors?

?

I didn't think a dictionary was included with ispell.

For American English you probably ought to install the
copyright-expired/now-public domain Webster's dictionary. If I M-$ on
pterodactyl, ispell says it is correct.

It does. (you have to get it separately), but if you've ever
installed it it asks you which dictionary you want to use 'small
medium large...'. They add in /usr/dict/words as well, but thats not
the dictionary they start with.

Cool. Where can I get it from?
