Lars, this looks similar to the problem I reported a while back where
I had to edit the .newsrc.eld by hand and move the nndraft group to
the front of the list, after which (strangely) everything worked. It
seems there might be an initialization problem with nndraft or
something. I never did figure out exactly what was going wrong, as it
works for me now (once it works, it continues to).
