I get a really long delay that is far longer than it takes my ISDN box to come up (ie, on the order of a minute plus rather than 5 seconds like every other think does that accesses the network). What I'm not sure of is weather its XEmacs related or Gnus related... I was just about to try a (setq debug-on-quit t) and give it a test... Well, my WAN light is off, why not now... please wait... Grr... Ever had a problem when entering the backtrace debugger takes *way* too long (ie, never returns?) please wait... Uh, never mind... Can't get a backtrace for some reason... Sigh...
