Hi,

sguns-0.84 has different behaviour under FSF EMacs and XEmacs when
using it together with ange-ftp.

I work on three different systems and do not won't to duplicate my
news/mail among those systems, so I use ange-ftp. However, under
XEmacs it will not work at all. After not finding the proper .newsrc
file it does not continue looking for a .eld file, where as under FSF
Emacs it does find the .eld file.

Is this a difference between ange-ftp under Emacs/XEmacs or is this a
problem with gnus?

jas.
