problem moving from Gnus 5.2.39 to Red v0.47

(I sent a report like this to gnus-bug, but I suppose ding is a better
place for Red Gnus issues....)

I have been using 5.2.39 since it came out and am finally making the
move to Red Gnus here.  I don't remember the specifics, but I had an
error first off with my gnus-visible-headers in .gnus, so I commented
it out.  Now, everything seems fine except when I try to select an
article, I get the following error:

It is a bug.  Adding 

	(setq gnus-doing-request-article t)

to my `.gnus' solved the problem for me.

I'll add this to the FAQ tonight.  This is going to be a very common
problem.  What I do is something like:

This is a typo, and already reported.  The workaround I am using is to
M-: (setq gnus-doing-request-article nil)
after starting Gnus.

Ahh, okay thanks to you and Per.  I stuck in that setq for the time
being, and converted my gnus-visible-headers to append to a list
instead of concat to a string.  :)

I tried using a regexp in the gnus-visible-headers (something like
"^X-(Mailer|Newsreader):", but that didn't work.  The help on
gnus-visible-headers seems to indicate that regexp's are accepted.  Or
is my regexp invalid?  (My lisp syntax is weak...)
