Subject: Browse server and topic toggle acts funny

If I do the following from my group buffer:

-- Browse, say, my draft server with 'B nndraft RET RET';
-- And toggle topics mode with 't';

Gnus hangs for a really long time. Stopping it with C-g reveals that
it's trying to list every group, including zombie groups (but not
apparently killed groups), in the group buffer; this takes a while
when it's many of the groups on my nntp server. (The effect is pretty
similar to what 'A z' gives.)
