I get the following message in the minibuffer: gnus-cite-parse: Invalid search bound (wrong side of point) Happens when I first display the article. The articles are displayed, but all syntax colouring is gone, and all headers are shown. >From the name of the function it would be tempting to think that something has b0rken my decades old supercite config...? On the other hand, this happens when I display the article, and supercite shouldn't be invoked before I respond to a message...?
