Subject: [rgnus feature request] Customization for nnmail-split-methods
Date: 15 Aug 1996 12:42:29 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <yj9g25ol9i2.fsf@adobe.com> (raw)
Sorry if this is already in the rguns todo list. Can 'nnmail-split-methods'
be added into the custom mode?
I think 'nnmail-split-methods' is one of the most attractive feature in gnus,
and I think many people like to use it but don't know how (especially for
those who are new in lisp and regexp). Many of my friends are in that
catagory; they simply want to split incoming mail by subject and senders but
don't know how to go about it.
'nnmail-split-methods' works wonderfully well once I have set it up with a
long and complicated defun which splits tons of my incoming mails into 20~
mailboxes. I alter it quite often and found that it is very troublesome to
test the correctness of the lisp and regexp of it.
Anyone care to share their 'nnmail-split-methods'? :-)
