Subject: M-g in topic mode

I use topic mode in Gnus (0.48), and when I press M-g on a topic, gnus
fetches all news/mail in all the groups under that topic, which is
fine. Problem is, it then lists *all* groups in the topic, including
those with 0 new articles.
Is this a bug? If not, how can I get Gnus to list only groups with
new articles?
