Subject: gnus-play-jingle broken?
Date: 11 Mar 1997 13:44:22 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <yqpo4teik389.fsf@hullet.a.sn.no> (raw)

Well, i decided to get my rocks off and play some nifty tunes every
time i start Gnus. I did the following in my .gnus:

(setq gnus-audio-player "/local/bin/showaudio")
(setq gnus-startup-jingle "receiving.au")
(setq gnus-play-startup-jingle t)

I also have a (require 'gnus-audio) in my .emacs.

Now, gnus-play-jingle works fine _after_ gnus is loaded, but nothing
happens at startup. Am I doing something wrong here, or is it just not
properly implemented yet?
