I use fifos, unix named pipe, even in my speech adapter,
so I know them and like them.
There's a user level command to create these on the fly; you don't have to be root.
mkfifo()
If windows has similar this could work well.
I mean edbrowse and edbrowse-js are already piped,
there's almost no difference between that and named fifo.
