In imap you can create or delete folders.

create foo
delete foo

Warning! This is very experimental.

Also at the folder screen you can type db4 to set the debug level, like you would in edbrowse, but probably I'm the only one who would do that.

I created a new folder in my gmail and right away I could move messages into it.
I then deleted the folder and I think those messages went away, so be careful.

For international users, I don't know if you can embed utf8 in a folder's name.
I hope so, but I didn't try it.
