Hey,
Apologies guys, having never compiled Emacs myself I assumed it would
take at least a few hours and be at least somewhat fiddly. I was
astonished that it compiled without any input on my part, and in about a
minute total.
I can confirm that some kind of breakage has taken place between 27.1
and 26.3, as howm works as expected on 26.3 tarball release, just as it
did on official Arch release of 26.3. Just for completeness sake I
compiled the Emacs 27.1 tarball version and it contains the same problem.
I don't think I was clear before that I'm in Arch. But it looks like
that might not be relevant.
If anyone has seen a similar issue, please drop a line here. I'll try
and continue to look into possible solutions.
Cheers guys,
Kenneth
