[developer] REVIEW: 15496 dr: array subscript 3 is above array bounds

hi!

This is rework of older approach, https://code.illumos.org/c/illumos-gate/+/2727 

In short, I have no option to test dr, therefore for time being, I just use silencer and get it out of the way.

This does conclude my work on gcc 14 cleanups, there is still https://code.illumos.org/c/illumos-gate/+/3745 - and that to is about to get done and with those last two updates, we can start to use gcc 14 as shadow compiler.

So, please review and then, happy hacking:)
