I’ve had this sitting around for a while, but apparently forgot about it.

I’ve been re-testing everything since it’s been so long and so far it all seems to work fine with what I’d describe as the typical use cases. However if anyone uses some more esoteric invocations of tar and wants to kick the tires on it, that’d be appreciated.
