  The night before FOSDEM starts there, and then people forget what
happened :) But it is overly crowded and loud, so I don't think I was
inside more than twice, and it's near impossible to find anyone specific if
you did not arrive together.

  Alternately, back then Andy suggested BrewDog (near Bruxelles-Central, a
short walk from Delirium), I believe, and it was also good.

Personally, Little Delirium is better and quieter. Or A la Mort Subite
might be quiet later in the evening.

When we went in 2024 as a group it was incredibly loud. I was in Brussels
about a month ago and we rejected
the main Delirium because we could hear the music from way down the street.

I think Delirium Cafe is always an option later. But to have a talk or find somebody it’s always to crowed. khorben (from NetBSD) suggested:

  FWIW, I'll be in Brussels from Thursday evening to Sunday evening. During
Friday I'll be at Jenkins Contributor Summit, and they would have a
"dinner" afterwards. I am not sure yet when that dinner is, or if our
discussions from the day would spill over there too... Hope to see you at
the illumos dinner and/or pub somewhere, but "at worst" - see you in ULB
during the weekend!

  I've got an update from the Jenkins team that their dinner starts at
1830, not sure where yet - roughly assuming city center. Maybe not, their
summit is a block away from ULB.

  So quite uncertain if I'd get to the illumos dinner as well, but if you
go for a drink later - I may be eager to join :D
  Is anyone using WhatsApp/Telegram/GoogleChat so we could coordinate that
evening in real-time?
