Subject: MS-Word encoding in emails?
Date: 10 May 2006 10:40:58 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1147282858.714013.207930@g10g2000cwb.googlegroups.com> (raw)

Folks,

I've recently began receiving emails like this:

  :v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml"
xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"
xmlns:w="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word"
xmlns:st1="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40"> :SmartTagType
namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" name="City"/>
:SmartTagType namespaceuri="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"
name="place"/> Guys:p>:p> Can we meet today at around 11 to discuss on
coding guidelines? We also need to decide on how many copies of Code
Composer Studio we need. Thanks.:p>:p> Best regards :p>:p> Vikram:p>:p>

Does anyone know this encoding? Does gnus "wash" or otherwise know how
to decode this
encoding?

This doesn't appear to be html to me, so I can't even use a browser on
it (or wash it
with html).

All help is appreciated.
