nnrss does not work anymore

nnrss does not work anymore

Hi,

if I do  a G R in the group buffer and add a an url of a rss feed in
the prompt (e.g. the address of the emacs.gnus group) I only get the
answer that no feed can be found.
I try the same with another emacs (out of cvs) and it works. Any hints?

pces.el is in apel. I found that apel was missing. I am not sure
anymore but I seem to recall that it was once installed automatically
by aptitude in function of gnus.

I can't find the string "pces" in the Gnus sources and I'm quite sure
that Gnus doesn't require apel.

Okay, and if I think about it I cannot remember that I ever had to do
an extra install of apel. I have a second emacs (with xft) and there
gnus did not require apel - no problems with nnrss feeds. But anyway
after having installed apel everything works fine now. Mmh...
