grep a string in subdirectories

grep a string in subdirectories

Hi.
My problem is When I type this:
find . | xargs grep test
Then i get the message:
xargs cannot fork.

I'm using "UnixUtils" commands on windows XP... Can anybody help me to
find a solution to my problem.

Please make a script like this:

find ../ -name '*.[ch]' -exec grep -H $1 '{}' ';'

it works very well in my Linux machine.
