Ah, _now_ I understand what's going on. Previously, I thought it was adding a group for a directory, something like `nnml:Mail/'. I got confused. Thanks for clearing that up. So, what happens if you kill all those groups, then exit Gnus and then nix them from the .active file? Maybe you want to delete most of those files anyway (the old ones), so that next time if it goes wrong you won't have so many groups :-) -- ~/.signature is: umop ap!sdn (Frank Nobis)
