how to cancel a mail?

i opened a buffer to written a new mail, then i want to cancel it(not
send), is there a gnus command to do it? just kill the buffer?

what is the difference between the following commands:

C-c C-d
     Bury the message buffer and exit (message-dont-send).

C-c C-k
     Kill the message buffer and exit (message-kill-buffer).

Its redaction  is stopped, but  you can access  your message at  a later
time in the drafts group to continue the edition and/or send it..

> Kill the message buffer and exit (message-kill-buffer).

The message is cancelled. Your text is actually lost.
