Sometimes when I send an e-mail Gnus tries to change the .emacs. I get a message that the file is write protected and when I answer on the question if it has to be changed no, then my e-mail is not send. When I then immediately try to send it again, there is no problem. Why is Gnus trying to write to my .emacs? As I understood it, this should not be the case. -- Cecil Westerhof Senior Software Engineer LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/cecilwesterhof
