I was having a problem with my default nnml group in that messages
that were expired were still showing up in the Summary buffer. So
what I did was copy out all the good messages and then I blew away the
group in the filesystem and restored it in gnus and copied all the
messages back in. Everything is working fine except all mail that is
put into the group is marked as read. Anyone know what could be
causing this? If I change what's been 'seen' in .newsrc.eld for this
group it keeps getting reset so that messagen numbers that don't exist
are marked as seen. I don't know if that's a problem or not.

thanks,
ryan
