Besides, I can't think of any informative facts that (1) I want to include in every post and (2) aren't available in the headers. Maybe I could set up a script to select a single sentence from my dissertation[1] with each post. But, I'm sure the average reader would prefer to read James Harris's insightful writing rather than my dull LaTeX source file.
