Subject: certain mail group needs "C-u RET" to show new unread mail

Hi,

I have a certain IMAP folder where I always have to do something like
C-u RET 338 RET (a lower number seems to not work, though it changes
some times), in order to show new emails. Otherwise, it just shows old
ticked ones. When I'm just in *Group*, it always seems there are no
emails in that folder. I doing C-k on the group and deleting any files
with the group name in ~/{News,Mail}, but it didn't help. Anyone have a
clue what to do? Also, the max number shown after C-u RET is always
2284, has been for as long as I can remember.

I'm using gnus v5.13, emacs 24.2.1, dovecot 2.1.10, offlineimap 6.5.4.
When opening the IMAP folder directly with K-9 mail on Android or the
web interface (fastmail), there doesn't seem to be a problem.
