How about in gnus-message-setup-hook: If we find ourselves following up
with F (runs the command gnus-summary-followup-with-original), and the
current group matches a regexp, "debian", etc., then rewrite the group
name into the mailing list name, and make this into a mail message
not news.  Can this be done?  Seems like a reasonable need of a
news.gmane.org user.
