Subject: nntp not showing in initial group buffer
Date: Fri, 22 Mar 2019 04:29:22 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87bm23p5h9.fsf@algarveservers.com> (raw)
Recently I had to re-install my emacs/gnus from scratch, something I had
never had to do in 20 years or so, having previously been able to copy
in from backups.
This is what I find:
Upon loading emacs and starting gnus, the nnml groups all appear in the
initial buffer, but nntp groups do not.
eg:
3: nnml:bank-finance.bmo
5: nnml:cronjob.hourly
2:*nnml:forum.gnus
5: nnml:mail.misc
1: nnml:shopping.aliexpress
6: nnrss:YTS RSS
but after hitting "L" to get a full listing, they come up perfectly.
0: nndraft:drafts
20: rec.bicycles.racing
14: alt.test.test
Can anyone suggest what I might to to correct this?
