Message-ID: <87czl613ag.fsf@yandex.com> (raw)
According to "1.6 Canceling News" section of gnus info, "not many news
servers respect the ‘Cancel-Lock’ header yet, but this is expected to
change in the future." Does anyone know if this is still the situation
or if the canlock-password is now widely used? A user can find a
password inserted in their emacs init file, assuming its not already
present there, or in ~/.gnus.el. It's not clear to me which newsgroups
do this actively.
Best wishes,
Colin Baxter.
