I use this:
(setq gnus-secondary-select-methods '((nnml ""))
mail-sources '((file :path "/home/glyn/Mail/inbox")
(file :path "/home/glyn/Mail/gmail")
(file :path "/var/spool/mail/glyn")))
The last mail source is for system mail.
