message-ignored-mail-headers is ignored

message-ignored-mail-headers is ignored

No matter what I try and set in message-ignored-mail-headers,
gnus always sets the user-agent, even if ignored. Is there a
mistake in these settings or something I need to add?

An alternative is to set the variable gnus-user-agent to nil.

Interesting, because the docstring is:

    *Regexp of headers to be removed unconditionally
    before mailing.

I guess there are exceptions to unconditionality
as well!

PS. What does the asterisk mean prefixing the first
    word? Is it some subset of or particular
    regexp style?

Seems like for email my settings already worked, only news was
not set. I looked again at raw text of emails I did sent.
