Subject: HELP: Gnus Can Not Access Leafnode!
Date: Thu, 07 Jul 2005 01:58:38 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <87oe9f7r5d.fsf@narke.yellow.line> (raw)
for the reason of speed up, i changed my gnus configuration and conduct it to
access a local leafnode server, that is,
(setq gnus-select-method '(nntp "localhost"))
i found the leafnode works okay, because the slrn can read news articles no
problem. of course, i have put a line in the /etc/nntpservers,
localhost.
however, gnus seems not happy with this change. when i started it, it just
stalled. nothing display, no key can type in except the "ctrl-g". i checked the
*Message* buffer, but almost nothing found.
anyone has any clue? thanks.
