Probably not enough space for you, unless you think $40/year is
cheap, but I really like fastmail.fm. They run excellent IMAP
software (Cyrus) which works well with Gnus and provide many
other features. Most importantly (for me) is they support
extention addressing. (i.e. username+ext@foo.bar...)
Of course, I don't really use it a lot currently, but it tided me
over until my own mail server was up and running.
